Brief

This is a mixed use, urban assembly with over 500 hundred apartments. Its scale and economic benefits to the immediate area is immense, not least providing an animated frontage on Thomas Road with a new canal side walk. The buildings are linked through public and private paths, squares, gardens and play areas, including access to the canal and a new dock. The development includes a mix of uses and scales, including low-rise blocks, towers, townhouses and warehouse units, as well as office use. Through the interlinking of designed public spaces the old industrial feel of the area is removed and a new sustainable, secure and beautiful townscape is created.
