Overview

Gibraltar has seen a significant change over the latter half of the 20th Century, with a large scaling down of military presence, resulting in a shift in economy to finance, tourism and shopping. The rich natural environment and historic context remain prevalent and is promoted by the Government to attract tourism and commerce. This is the ‘gateway site’ from the airport to Grand Casements Square. The Indigo hotel will provide 130 keys, health facilities, a restaurant and a roof top bar terrace with panoramic views of the Straights and the Rock.
